The National Counterintelligence and Security Center (#ncsc) has introduced a #new program to help #government workers avoid cyber-attacks, specifically #spear phishing, which have plagued several federal agencies this year.
Called “Know the Risk, Raise Your Shield,” the NCSC effort centers on two videos that attempt to initiate the uneducated PC user into the world of cyber-crime. The #initiative is an attempt to halt, at the source, attacks such as the one that struck the Office of Personnel Management earlier this year that snatched the personal information of 22 million people.
