A Senate GOP chairman is requesting the National Archives hand over any emails between former President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, sent a letter this week to archivist David Ferriero after the Justice Department denied his request for the emails.
Johnson previously requested that the Justice Department hand over any emails Clinton sent to Obama from a “territory of a sophisticated adversary.” But DOJ said they could not share any emails because they involved other executive branches.
