With the increasing popularity of bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies and public cloud offerings, enterprises are moving from on-premises applications to cloud apps – but they still lack faith in cloud security.
A recent July Bitglass study found that 67 percent of respondents believe cloud apps are as secure or more secure than on-premises apps — a significantly higher statistic than the 40 percent recorded in 2015. Despite this, 93 percent of respondents are at least moderately concerned about the security of the cloud.
