New spam outbreak: “Better Business Bureau”

We has detected significant activity related to spam e-mail messages that claim to be from Better Business Bureau.

As many typical spam, the text in the e-mail message attempts to convince the recipient to open click the link provided or the attachment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Following is the example of the used Subject:

  • BBB SBQ Form #481911927(Ref#82-481911927-0-4)
  • RE: Case# 41561293: Fredrick Wells

And here is some of the text from the email:

As a service to BBB Accredited Businesses, we try to ensure that the information we provide to potential customers is as accurate as possible. In order for us to provide the correct information to the public, we ask that you review the information that we have on file for your company.

We encourage you to use our ONLINE FORM to provide us with this updated information. The URL below will take you directly to this form on our website:
