The Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing a breach of Alabama’s law enforcement networks. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed the FBI is investigating unauthorized access of its networks, Huntsville television station WAFF reported.
Gov. Robert Bentley requested FBI support investigating the issue and told the bureau in letters that several contract personnel working for the state’s Finance Department were improperly granted access to networks that support the state’s Law Enforcement Agency and FBI Criminal Justice Systems.
